Sunflower lecithin is a phospholipid type abundant in sunflower seeds. It is an emulsifier that gives foods a creamy, moist, smooth.
Sunflower lecithin is often organic and naturally without genetic engineering, according to agricultural studies. There are no known allergic reactions caused by sunflower lecithin and few side effects of the class. Instead of a chemical solvent process such as in the case of soybean lecithin, sunflower lecithin is processed normally cold-pressing.
To be non-GMO, the product mustn´t be labeled with respect to GMOs according to Regulations (EC) 1829/2003 and 1830/2003.
